Excelana is the result of an exciting collaboration between John Arbon of Fibre Harvest and Susan Crawford knitwear designer and author, bringing you a luxurious knitting yarn evoking vintage wools from the “Golden Age” of knitting.

Excelana yarn is 100% British wool, spun from the fleece of the Exmoor Blueface, which live on the moors of North Devon. A cross between the Exmoor Horn and the Bluefaced Leicester, the fleece of the Exmoor Blueface creates a lustrous yarn with a soft handle, great stretch and excellent stitch definition, affording the knitter a pleasurable knitting experience.

Excelana is available in 4 ply and DK weights in my own carefully chosen colour palette of eight, complementary, vintage inspired shades:

Persian Grey • Nile Green • Cornflower Blue

Powdered Egg • French Rose • Ruby Red • Alabaster

Saharan Sand
