as worn by Alex Langlands on the BBC Wartime Farm series

This pattern has been written by myself to raise funds for the Women’s Land Army

Tribute Campaign, which is raising funds to build a memorial to the Women’s Land Army.

You can read more about the campaign here. £2.50 from every pattern sale will be donated

to the campaign. We are delighted that Octopus Books and the Wartime Farm team are also

supporting our fund raising pattern.

The pattern contains a combination of written and charted instructions to knit this garment.

It includes instructions for a wide range of sizes to fit children, men and women. Please read

the pattern notes and sizing charts carefully to ensure you work the correct size. The pullover

is knitted in one piece up to the underarm and then is divided and the front and back are knitted

back and forth separately. It is knitted using stranded Fair Isle technique.

Two colour way options are provided in the pattern, one using Jamieson & Smith

100% Shetland wool and the second in Excelana 100% British wool which is my own vintage inspired yarn range.

Both options will give an authentic, period feel to the garment.

Kits providing you with the yarn you need to knit your pullover are also available.

The pattern is provided in PDF format only (no printed version available) to the email address provided on your order so please take care to put the correct email address.

This unisex pattern includes instructions for a wide range of sizes as follows:

age 3-4 yrs; age 5-6 yrs; age 7-8 yrs;
